Nestled away in the serene surroundings of Vigo Retreat Cabin 1, my recent stay was a delightful blend of tranquility and charm. The cabin, with its quaint atmosphere reminiscent of a blend between a shepherd's hut and a log cabin, offered the perfect escape from my bustling London life. The comfortable bed ensured a restful night, and honestly, I found myself sleeping better here than in many upscale lodges I've visited. Every morning, enjoying a continental breakfast with freshly provided eggs, bread, and delightful garden views was a lovely start to the day. While the location is peaceful and blissfully quiet, there were a few points for improvement - particularly the water pressure in the shower, which could definitely benefit from a boost. Despite some minor quirks, I genuinely appreciated the cleanliness and attention to detail throughout the cabin; Andy is a thoughtful host ensuring that everyone feels right at home. With just a few tweaks, this charming cabin has the potential to be an absolute gem in the heart of nature. I can't wait to return, perhaps with a few more friends to share the lovely moments in the garden while sipping tea and soaking in the gorgeous views. Cheers to the calming Canadian wilderness!
